I am lifting weights, but I really want to lose some weight and slim down some so I can get rid of the body fat covering some of my muscles. Can I run and lift weights or not? I still want to build muscle and lose weight and I just am not sure if that is possible.
yes doing cardio and weight training will build muscle, the weights will increase metabolic rate and tone and the cardio will burn the fat also toning and building lean muscle which is what u want if u want to look ripped. if you are really worried abot getting skinnt and not muscled try protein shakes, they promote muscle growth just use a good well known brand and it will prob also have a good diet and workout guideline included.
