Strength, Endurance, Cardio and Power Training?
I plan to do Strength Training, Muscular Endurance Training, Cardiovascular Training and Power Training. But I am not sure whether I should do Strength and Muscle Endurance right after one another, because with all this training I need time to do things and I need to combine some on the same day but not sure if I can? I am planning on doing Cardio 3 days, Strength 3 days, Power, 3 days, Muscle Endurance 3 days and I need to obviously combine them through the week. What would be good combinations. Its for MMA and Muay Thai (Fighting).
I have worked it out and have done it all before I won’t be overtraining. None of you answered my question on which ones I should do on the same day?
If you’re going to do all that without a solid plan you’re going to overtrain. If I were you, I’d avoid the cardio and muscular endurance until you have your strength and power in place. You should do the Starting Strength program since it’ll get you very strong quickly. While you’re on it you should also limit the intensity of your mma training. Your goal is to progress and not overtrain. Once you have your strength to a decent level, then add in the endurance and cardio and train more while maintaining or slowly increasing your strength and power.
