What type of cardio and strength training exercises can one safely do when that time of the month strikes?

I exercise regularly for weight loss but now that “that time of the month” strikes i want to make sure im not doing anything bad for my body

There are no safety issues with exercise at those times – studies with athletes show no difference in abilities, although heavy bleeding can theoretically cause lower iron, and reduce your strength or stamina for a few days. Mostly, this is just a personal issue based on how you feel. If you see a pattern with lower strength or stamina – take that into consideration, otherwise, go for it.
