Colon Cleansing and Fat Loss Tips for Bodybuilders
Most bodybuilding competitions are not often judged on which physique has the strongest points, but more on which one has the least weak points. For a large number of bodybuilders, the waistline is usually a weak area that they cannot improve. Exercises such as crunches and other training techniques for the abdominal muscles will often actually increase the thickness of the waistline. This is the reason why a lot of bodybuilders at the professional level do almost no abdominal training during the off-season. Cardio is essential for reducing body fat, but it does nothing that will reduce the width of the waistline or that will make the stomach more flat. So what else should bodybuilders do to help reduce their waistline?
An answer to this question has become more and more popular in recent years, especially with pro bodybuilding getting more competitive and tough. The answer is colon cleansing, also known as an enema. This issue will make quite a few people uncomfortable in a conversation, but many people have had to face having it done for medical reasons. This is a very safe technique that can have numerous health benefits. It is great at flushing out unwanted waste from the body, and there are many who believe it improves overall comfort of the body, as well as helping reduce the waistline.
An enema is performed by injecting liquids into the rectum, and then into the colon through the rectum. This is not the most flattering thing to have done, but it’s quick, safe, and painless. Home kits are even available that contain one-time use bottles and syringes for injecting. The procedure time is very short, and the directions given are very clear. This technique is used much by the elderly, but many people at younger ages are finding out the benefits of doing it to improve their overall health.
A growing number of professional bodybuilders are finding that the colon cleansing technique should be part of their routine in preparation right before shows. Doing this makes it possible to reduce the waist by 1-2 inches immediately following the procedure. With a shrunken waist, the shoulders appear to be larger, and the desired overall body shape is acquired, which means more points in the end. Since the competitors at all levels are always looking for an extra edge, this technique has spread from only professionals to intermediates with similar waste problems.
Although colon cleansing is a great technique with numerous benefits, it should not be abused or overdone. Performing it frequently is still only 1-2 times a year. Foreign fluids are being injected into the internals of the body, so this should be done with great caution. If caution is not exercised, the area can become infected. Consultation with a doctor and a good amount of research should always be done before executing this decision for the first time.
