Power Factory Plyometric Training

What rugby position should i play?
i’ve joined the rugby team in my area and i’ve been training a while now and now’s the time they’re asking about my position.
I’m 5’9 and i weigh about 75 kg and im doing plyometric training with some additional weight training. what position do you think i should play? my fitness is relatively good, ![]()
5’9 is quite small for a forward (depending on your age) i would say first centre maybe or scrum half……a scrum half must be very good technically at the game and have good intelligence and skill.
If your just starting i would advise 1st centre….a first centre’s main rolls are…..1). Crash Ball ( getting the ball and running straight and hard)…….2). Stopping the opposite 12/13 making a crash ball…..3). giving the outside centre good space and support…..and 4). Offering the fly half good support also.
Hope this helps
