Bodybuilding meal help?
Im a vegetarian and i just wonderd if this is a good sample diet for a day, im trying to gain muscle.
1st: Cereal with 200ml milk
2nd: Baked patatoe with baked beans and salad
3rd: Protein shake
4th: 5 egg whites, rice, baked beans
5th: Low fat yogurt (500g)
6th: Cereal with 250ml of milk
Any snacks are just fruit e.g Apple

You really did not state anything about your workout intensity and that is a big key. Obviously more intensity means a greater protein requirement.
In general, if you are getting about 160 grams of protein a day, the exact source is not very critical. Egg protein has the highest Protein Efficiency Ratio of any source. Having a variety of sources will insure that your supply of all the amino acids is adequate.
There is nothing wrong with being vegetarian. Nuts contain about 25% protein by weight which is the same as any meat.
There is a Vegan Weightlifters group in Yahoo which you should join to get more and better information.
